Record your Music
Whether you are a soloist, band or voiceover artist, Holliday Music can take your next song, debut single, hit album or project from a concept to a brilliant, unique and professionally produced reality.
Over your favourite coffee at one of Newcastle’s thriving cafes, our expert producers will work with you to gain a full understanding of your project and aspirations, and will design a production package to suit your requirements and budget. We focus on really getting to know you, your character and music style so this can be reflected in the final product.
We will advise an initial project scope, including production and post production time, and provide ongoing support throughout the process. Beyond recording, mixing and mastering your music, we also provide advice during the pre-production phase (such as for the arrangements of your music) and collaborate with you on the creative aspects of your music to ensure you produce a top quality, unique sound.
The final production is something you can feel proud of and is ready to be shared on iTunes, CD, television or on radio programs like triple j Unearthed.

Class size: private classes
Class length: 30 minutes
Class time: book a time between Monday to Friday from 9am - 7pm
Our drum kit: we use a standard acoustic drum kit with premium mesh skins and pads for low volume teaching. We also use a Roland SPD-SX Sampling Pad, hand drums and percussion.
Not in the area? We also offer private Skype lessons, allowing you to discover your music talents from anywhere in the world.

Whether you are a beginner or experienced drummer looking to expand your beats and fills, our music experts will take you from a novice to a drummer extraordinaire. Our drum lessons will equip you with the skills you need to be the next Neil Peart (Rush) and John Bonham (Led Zeppelin)!
Our professional drum teachers will help you discover your drumming talents, teach you drumming technique, show you how to read music and take you through each stage of creating beats, building rhythms and producing music.
Our drum lessons take place in a one-on-one environment so that you can enjoy personalised lessons that target your unique talents and help you to grow towards your goals as a musician and artist. We will help you discover your unique style and provide a creative environment that supports your tastes and the genres you most aspire to perform in, whether that be jazz, classical, garage, blues, rock, reggae, popular music, etc. or a blend of many genres. We can also help set the scene for you to collaborate and play with other musicians.
We also use percussion instruments, including shakers, tambourines, cowbells and jam blocks, in our drum lessons. learning a percussion instrument is a fantastic way to hone in on your techniques and skills, add a new dimension to your music or to unearth your natural talents.
Our drum teachers have over 10 years of experience and are capable, experienced, patient and friendly and love the opportunity to share their passion for music with others.

Whether you are a band looking to produce your next single and get some airtime on Triple J, an established musician with a record label or simply looking to get your songs mixed and produced professionally, you’ve come across the perfect space.
Our state-of-the-art studio is a creative and professional space fully kitted out for your needs. The studio features a comfortable control room and separate live room expertly treated for a quality sound and perfect for producing projects of any size. Speciality theatre facilities are also available on request.
Our music producers will sit in on your first session to show you how to use our quality recording systems and to help guide you in producing your musical vision.
The studio is available for rent from 9am onwards everyday. We offer competitive prices for the rental of our studio and can create a package and timeframe to suit your project’s unique needs and budget. Flexibility is key, whether you are looking to rent the studio for a couple of hours, a day or for a longer period of time, we’ve got you covered.
Music production training
Creating music can be a lot of fun! But it can also be challenging without a great recording arrangement and the right knowledge.
We can help you to learn the basics of music production so you can start turning your music vision into a reality.
Our skilled and experienced music producers will show you how to use our professional equipment and software, take you through harmony and music composition and give you the opportunity to practice microphone techniques and facilitate complete recording sessions.
Our training sessions are particularly popular for school and music teachers and can take place in either private sessions or group classes.
